about music 
do you play other instruments than bass?
it’s hard to define “playing” but I “play” guitar and piano. i studied also violin
when i was a small boy, but don’t really remember that much of it.
have you always wanted to be a musician?
i don’t actually remember what i wanted to be when i was small. but after
high school i even applied to the theatre
and got to the second round, but that was it. so not always only music.
which goals would you like to reach with the band, like
being successful in the us?
we just work as hard as we can and see how far we can get with that.
there’s really not that much point on just releasing some music somewhere
so you can say you’ve released it there. of course it would be great to have
success in big music countries like usa and uk.
what would you like to do if you wouldn’t be in s
avenue right now?
i would do my “real” profession, which is being a sound engineer.
mixing for bands, musicals or something.
what was the best that happened to you since you’re in the band?
there are so many super things i’ve experienced with these guys that it’s really
hard to tell one best. lots of great shows at clubs and festivals.
what do you think when you go on stage?
just try to relax and focus on the show, nothing really that special.
what do you miss most when you’re not on tour?
of course the guys, from the band and crew. it’s just so much fun to play some
playstation game until morning in the bus and then sleep a bit later J
have you been in other bands before sunrise avenue?
if yes – what were their names?
yes, I was in a couple of different bands, but they didn’t get
that much success J
why do you rarely play your fender bass live on stage?
actually I don’t own a fender bass. i only have an Ibanez bass’
you also know a lot of techincal stuff. did you work as a tech, before you started playing in the band?
yes, i studied the sound system stuff when i was younger and that’s how i made my living and actually do it still every now and then if i have the time and nice projects.
